1. Measure body length: with your pet standing or lying naturally, measure from the tip of the nose to the base of the tail.
2. Measure sleeping width: measure across the widest part of the body (usually shoulders or hips) while your pet is in its normal sleeping position.
3. Choose a bed at least 4 inches longer than the body length for curled sleepers; add 6–8 inches if your pet stretches out fully. Compare those numbers to the "Dimensions" column above to pick the best size.
