How to check the fit for your dog (quick):
- Measure your dog from the base of the neck to the base of the tail (in inches). This is your dog's body length.
- Measure the width across the widest part of your dog (usually the shoulders). Add 4–6 in for curled sleepers, or 10–12 in for dogs that like to stretch out.
- Choose the size where the bed length is at least your dog's body length plus the recommended allowance (4–12 in depending on sleep style). If your dog sleeps both curled and stretched, pick the larger size.
- If you're between sizes, pick the larger size for extra comfort and room to move.
Quick examples: a 20–35 lb dog that sleeps curled will fit well in M; a 40–70 lb dog that stretches out will fit best in L.
