How to choose the right size
- Measure your pet’s back length: from the base of the neck (where the collar sits) to the base of the tail. Use inches.
- Check your pet’s weight and compare to the "Max Pet Weight" column.
- Fit rule: pick the size where the interior length is at least 1–2 in longer than your pet’s back length so your pet can turn and lie down comfortably.
- If your pet is tall or broad (deep chest or large shoulders), also compare shoulder height and width against the carrier’s interior height and width above; choose the next size up if your pet is wide or stocky.
- Example: a 12–16 lb small dog with a back length of 12–15 in will typically fit size M; a 17–26 lb dog with a back length under 17 in will typically fit size L.
