Important sizing notes: These sizes are listed in Asian sizing and can run smaller than U.S. sizing — if your dog is between sizes or you prefer a roomier fit (especially for disabled dogs), choose one size up. Manual measurement may vary by about 0.8–1.2 in.
How to measure your dog (quick):
- Weigh your dog on a household scale (lbs).
- Measure girth (chest): wrap a soft tape around the widest part of the ribcage, just behind the front legs — this is the most important measurement for carrier fit.
- Measure back length: from base of neck (where collar sits) to base of tail.
- Use girth first to choose size from the table above; if between sizes, size up. For disabled dogs or dogs needing extra room, choose the next size up for comfort.
If you prefer a quick rule: pick the size that matches your dog’s weight category above and then confirm by measuring chest girth — that combination gives the most reliable fit.
