- Length: Measure from nose to base of tail — should be less than 17 in for a comfortable lie-down.
- Height: Measure from floor to top of shoulder — should be less than 11 in so your pet can sit without touching the top.
- Width: Measure your pet’s widest point when lying or curled (side-to-side) — should be comfortably less than 11 in to allow turning and settling.
- Tip: Your pet should be able to turn around and lie down naturally inside the compartment. If your pet sits close to the 17 x 11 x 11 in limits, consider how they rest (curled vs. stretched) before deciding.
