How to check fit for your dog — 2 quick measurements:
- With your dog standing naturally, measure from the floor to the top of the shoulder (shoulder height).
- Measure from the floor to the bottom of your dog's chin while standing (chin height).
If your dog's shoulder height is roughly 8–18 inches and chin height is roughly 6–12 inches, this feeder should position the bowls comfortably for eating (neck relaxed, not reaching far up or down). If your dog is taller/heavier than those ranges, consider a larger, taller feeder instead.
Tip: The stainless bowls are removable—measure your pet’s normal feeding posture against the bowl rim to confirm comfort: the rim should sit at or slightly below chest level so the neck stays neutral while eating.
