- Fit summary: This is a one-size expandable backpack designed for small cats and small-breed dogs. We recommend it for pets up to about 15 lbs (examples: adult domestic cats, Chihuahuas, Yorkshire Terriers, Pomeranians, Toy Poodles). The expandable top gives extra headroom so most pets in this group can sit and turn comfortably.

How to measure your pet (quick):
- Body length — measure from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. If your pet's body length is roughly 15 in or less, it should fit well.
- Chest girth — measure around the widest part of the chest. Aim for a chest girth under about 18 in for a comfortable fit.
- Sitting height — measure from the floor to the top of the pet's head when sitting. If under about 12 in, your pet will have adequate headroom.
- Quick fit rule: Allow about 2–3 in of extra room beyond your pet's measurements so they can sit and turn easily. If your pet exceeds the suggested ranges, consider a carrier sized for medium/large dogs.
- Visual check: The photos show the carrier used with small pets; if your pet looks similar in size to the animals shown, the fit will be comparable.
