• Quick fit guidance: This 6-panel playpen is best for small-to-medium dogs (practical recommendation: up to roughly 40 lbs), such as Beagles, French Bulldogs, Corgis, small Spaniels and terriers. If your dog is an active jumper or very tall, choose a taller barrier — this pen is about 23.6 in tall.
How to check this will fit your dog
1) Measure your dog’s body length: from the tip of the nose to the base of the tail. For a comfortable fit, your dog’s body length + 6 in should be less than or equal to 47.2 in (the pen length).
2) Measure shoulder height: floor to the highest point of the shoulders. To reduce jumping risk, your dog’s shoulder height should be at least 4 in lower than the pen height (23.6 in), i.e. roughly 19.5 in or lower is recommended.
3) If your dog barks, climbs, or jumps, consider additional height or supervision — this pen is intended primarily for containment and safe, short-term indoor use.
