- Quick fit check (do this before ordering): Measure your pet's length from nose to the base of the tail and their height from the top of the shoulders to the floor. For comfortable travel, your pet's length should be at least 2 in shorter than the carrier length (so allow ~13.4 in of pet length or less) and the shoulder height should be at least 1–2 in shorter than the carrier height (so allow ~9.8–10.8 in of shoulder height or less).
- How to measure your dog: 1) Have your dog stand naturally. 2) Measure nose to base of tail for length. 3) Measure from floor to top of shoulders for height. 4) Weigh your dog on a scale and compare to the 11.0 lb limit.
- Practical notes: The carrier includes a side opening for the pet's head and a built-in safety leash — if your pet often sits upright or likes to stick its head out, ensure their shoulder height plus head clearance fits under the 11.8 in exterior height.
