- Measure your dog’s body length from the base of the neck (where the collar sits) to the base of the tail. Compare that number to the seat length (L) above.
- Measure your dog’s widest point (usually the chest or shoulders). Make sure the seat’s width (W) gives at least 1–2 in of clearance for comfort.
- If your dog is heavy-boned or likes to curl up, choose the next larger size. Use the weight examples above as a quick reference.
Quick selection tip: if your pet’s length and chest width fit comfortably inside the listed dimensions with a couple inches to spare, the seat will be a good fit. If you’re between sizes, pick the larger one for more comfort.
