• Fit summary: This product is a single, universal backseat hammock designed to cover the entire back seat and door-side areas using convertible side flaps. From the product images, it is sized to fit most cars, trucks, and SUVs and is best suited for small-to-large dogs (we recommend for dogs up to about 80 lbs). Larger breeds may still fit depending on your vehicle's seat depth.
• To confirm it will work for your vehicle and dog, follow these quick checks:
- Measure your vehicle backseat width: measure from door seam to door seam across the back seat (in inches). The cover is designed to span the full width of a standard back seat in most cars, trucks, and SUVs.
- Measure seat depth: measure from the seat-back seam to the front edge of the seat. Your dog should be comfortable if its body length (base of neck to base of tail) is less than or roughly equal to that seat depth.
- Measure your dog: measure length (base of neck to base of tail) and shoulder height. If your dog sits upright, ensure the shoulder height is less than the available back height so the mesh window aligns with your dog's line of sight.
• Quick practical guidance: If your backseat is typical car/truck width and depth, this cover will comfortably protect the seat and doors while providing room for small to large dogs (examples: Beagle, Cocker Spaniel, French Bulldog, Border Collie). For very large breeds (Labrador, Golden Retriever), measure seat depth and your dog’s length to be sure the dog can lie down comfortably.
