Notes and quick measuring guide:
- Doorway fit: Measure the clear opening where the gate will mount. This gate extends from 22 to 39.4 inches — make sure your opening falls within that range. For wider openings, use multiple gates stacked side-by-side.
- Dog height check: With your dog standing naturally on a flat floor, measure from the floor to the top of the shoulder (not the head). Choose the Low or High height so the gate is at least 2–4 inches taller than your dog's shoulder height to prevent easy stepping over.
