How to measure your dog (quick — in inches)
1) Body length: measure from the base of the neck to the base of the tail, with your dog standing naturally.
2) Chest girth: measure the widest part of the ribcage, just behind the front legs.
3) Weight: use your scale or vet records to confirm pounds (lbs).
How to use these numbers
• If your dog is ≤ ~15 lbs and body length ≤ ~12 in and chest girth ≤ ~16 in, this S carrier should fit comfortably for short trips and front-facing carry with exposed legs.
• If your dog is heavier or longer than these recommendations, choose a different carrier style or a larger carrier (this product is a single small size).
