How to check fit for your pet: 1) Measure your pet's body length from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. 2) Compare that number to the pad length (24 in). If your pet's body length is equal to or less than 24 in, the pet can lie fully on the pad. 3) For pets that curl or loaf, chest girth is less critical — ensure the pad width (18 in) gives enough surface for the pet to turn comfortably. If you prefer extra room for stretching or two small pets, choose placement so there is at least 2–4 in of extra space beyond your pet's body length.
