- Vehicle fit check (quick): Measure your rear bench seat width from left to right. This style of cover is intended for full-width benches commonly found in passenger vehicles — if your rear bench is roughly between 40 and 60 inches wide it will fit the majority of cars shown in the product images.
- How to measure your dog (to confirm comfort): 1) Length — measure from the base of the neck to the base of the tail (in inches). 2) Chest — measure the widest part of the ribcage around the chest (in inches). 3) Weight — use your dog’s weight in pounds (lbs). If your dog is under ~80 lbs and its length and chest are within typical medium‑to‑large ranges, this cover will provide roomy, protective coverage.
- Quick decision rule: If your rear seat width falls in the ~40–60 in range and your dog is under ~80 lbs, this cover should fit and protect the rear seat well.
