Best for: Small to medium dogs (we recommend for dogs up to about 30 lbs — examples: French Bulldog, Beagle, Cocker Spaniel). The shape and height make it suitable for dogs that can comfortably sit and turn around in a 19.3 × 19.3 in footprint.
How to check fit — quick steps:
- Measure your dog’s length from the base of the neck (where the collar sits) to the base of the tail. That length + 2–4 in of clearance should be less than or equal to 19.3 in for a comfortable fit.
- Measure shoulder height (floor to top of shoulders). Your dog should be able to sit without the top of the head pressing against the 15.4 in height.
- If your dog is near the size limit above, consider how they curl up — dogs that curl tightly will fit better than long, straight-bodied breeds.
Other fit notes: Zippers on both sides allow easy entry and exit; hooks and metal inserts let you secure a collar or seat belt for travel safety. If you use a vehicle harness or belt, verify the attachment points align comfortably with your dog once placed inside.
