- Measure your dog from the base of the neck to the base of the tail for length.
- Measure across the widest part of the shoulders for width.
- Choose a bed where the bed length is at least your dog’s length + 4 in and the width is at least shoulder width + 2–4 in. Add 6–8 in if your dog likes to sprawl.
Tip: If your dog curls to sleep, you can size down one step; if they stretch out, pick the next larger size.
