How to measure your dog (quick): 1) Measure your dog lying down from the tip of the nose to the base of the tail — that is the length to match. 2) Measure the widest point across the shoulders — that is the width to match. 3) Choose a mat where the mat length is at least 3–6 inches longer than your dog’s measured length and the mat width is at least 2–4 inches wider than the shoulder width for comfortable cooling and movement.
