How to choose and measure (quick):
- Measure your pet from the tip of the nose to the base of the tail (length). If your pet curls, measure from nose to where the tail meets the body when curled.
- For curled sleepers, add about 2–4 in of extra space for comfort. If your pet likes to stretch out, choose the next size up from the curl measurement.
- Use the breed/weight guidance in the table above as a quick sanity check — if your pet falls between sizes, pick the larger one for a roomier bed.
Quick fit check: have your pet lie in its usual sleeping position, measure the length as described, then compare to the guidance above. If your pet prefers to sprawl, choose the larger size for extra comfort.
