Based on the product images and typical hammock proportions, this cover is recommended for small to medium-large dogs up to about 70 lbs (for example: Beagles, Corgis, French Bulldogs, Border Collies, and many Australian Shepherds). It comfortably accommodates one medium-large dog or two small dogs side-by-side.
How to confirm a good fit
- Measure your dog: length from nose to base of tail (in inches) and weight (lbs). If your dog is under ~70 lbs, this cover will very likely fit.
- Measure your car's rear seat: width (measure headrest to headrest) and seat depth (front of seat to backrest). The hammock secures to front and rear headrests—make sure both headrests are adjustable or removable so straps can attach.
- Quick rule: if your dog's length is shorter than your back seat width and the seat has standard headrests for strap attachment, the cover will provide full coverage and protection.
