- Maximum opening (hammock setup): About 54 in wide × 59 in long when converted to a hammock/seat protector.
- Best fit: Fits most car back seats and is roomy for small, medium, and many large dogs—suitable for breeds from small terriers and French Bulldogs up through many Labradors and similar-size dogs. Use the measurements below to confirm your fit.

How to measure for a correct fit:
- Measure your car's back seat width (door trim to door trim). It should be at least 54 in for full hammock coverage.
- Measure usable seat length (front of seat to seatback). Compare to the cover length—cover is about 58 in long laid flat.
- Measure your dog from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. If this length is comfortably less than 58 in, the dog will have full coverage and room to lie down.
- Quick tip: If your back seat width is under 54 in, the cover can still be used as a bench-style protector (not hammock) — measure the seat surface and your dog to ensure adequate coverage.
