How to measure your dog (quick):
- Measure length: from the tip of the nose to the base of the tail (in inches).
- Measure chest girth: around the widest part of the ribcage (in inches).
- If your dog curls to sleep, use the length measurement above and choose a size where the recommended length in the table is equal to or larger than your dog's measured length. If your dog sleeps stretched out, add 6–10 in to the measured length and choose the next size up if needed.
- Use weight as a secondary check — if your dog’s weight is near the top of a size range, consider the next size up for extra room.
Quick tip: If you are between sizes or your dog likes lots of space, choose the larger size. Packaging and lounger style mean the rim provides snug support even when the sleeping surface is slightly larger than your pet.
