How to measure your dog (simple, 2-minute check):
- Weigh your dog on a household scale — use the weight to match the table above (lbs).
- Measure body length: with the dog standing, measure from the base of the neck (where a collar sits) to the base of the tail. This confirms the dog will sit comfortably in the carrier.
- Measure chest girth: wrap a tape measure around the widest part of the ribcage. If your dog is deep‑chested or very broad, prefer the larger size.
- Fit tip: if your dog's weight or measurements fall between sizes, pick the larger size so the dog can sit naturally and you can secure them comfortably.
Practical at‑home test: place a folded towel in the carrier and have your dog sit into it briefly to check comfort and support before longer use.
