- Weigh your dog on a pet or bathroom scale. Choose the size where your dog’s weight falls within the recommended pet weight.
- Measure your dog’s body length (base of neck to base of tail) and shoulder height to make sure they can sit and turn comfortably inside the carrier.
- If your dog is close to a size limit, has a broad chest, or tall build, choose the larger size for comfort.
Notes: the carrier includes an internal safety rope, padded bottom, abdominal elastic design and thick shoulder/back padding. These features increase comfort and security but do not change the recommended pet weight ranges above.
