How to measure your dog (quick):
1) Have your dog stand naturally. Measure from the base of the neck (where the collar sits) to the base of the tail — that is the body length. Use inches.
2) Optionally measure shoulder width to confirm your dog can curl or turn comfortably; compare to the size guidance above.
Quick choosing tips: If your dog is near the upper end of a range, choose the next size up for extra room to turn and stretch. For very stocky or long-backed dogs, prioritize body length and shoulder width when selecting size.
