How to measure your dog (3 quick steps)
- Measure body length: from the base of the neck (where collar sits) to the base of the tail. Your dog’s body length should be shorter than 18.5 in to fit comfortably.
- Measure shoulder/body width: measure across the widest part of your dog’s body while standing (shoulder-to-shoulder). That measurement should be less than 9.4 in for a comfortable fit on the carrier floor.
- Weigh your dog: confirm your dog is at or under 13.2 lbs for safe use.
Quick fit tips: If your dog’s length is close to 18.5 in, they will fit but may have limited space to turn; if shoulder width is near 9.4 in, expect a snug fit. The two included mats provide cushioning and a firm base for stability.
