- Measure your pet's curled-up length: from the tip of the nose to the base of the tail while the pet is in its typical sleeping position.
- Compare that curled-up length to the bed's internal length (first number in the Dimensions). Allow 2–4 in of extra space so your pet can shift and get comfortable.
- If your pet tends to stretch out when sleeping, measure full body length and choose the next size up.
- Also consider weight guidance (listed under "Best for") if your pet is particularly stocky or long-legged.
Quick selection tip: For most small cats and toy breeds, M or L is a good balance. Choose S only for very tiny kittens or toy breeds under ~6.6 lbs; choose XL if you want a roomy bed for a medium pet up to ~22.0 lbs.
