How to measure your dog
- Measure your dog from the base of the neck (where collar sits) to the base of the tail — that is the length to match to the mat's length.
- Measure the widest part across the shoulders — that is the minimum width the mat should cover.
- Choose a mat with length at least 4 in longer than your dog's length for comfortable lying space. If your dog likes to stretch out, add 8–12 in.
- If your dog curls when resting, match the width to shoulder width; if your dog sleeps sprawled, prioritize mat length.
If you're between sizes, pick the larger size for extra comfort.
