- Recommended fit: Best for small-to-medium dogs — we recommend this mat for dogs up to about 30 lbs (examples: French Bulldog, Beagle, Pug, Cocker Spaniel). For larger breeds, this mat can be used for short treat sessions but may be small for full meals.
- How to check at home: Measure two simple things to confirm fit —
- 1) Muzzle width: measure the widest part of your dog’s snout (across the nose). If your dog can comfortably rest their muzzle on a small plate or shallow dish, they will be able to reach the mat.
- 2) Reach/comfort: measure from the tip of the nose to the front of the chest (while the dog is standing or sitting). If your dog can easily reach the center of a small plate without straining, the mat will be comfortable for licking or slow treats.
