One compact size — recommended fit: This product is a single, compact silicone snuffle mat designed primarily for small-to-medium dogs. Visually (from product images) it is best suited for dogs up to about 35 lbs — for example, Beagles, French Bulldogs, Corgis, Pugs, and small terriers.
Quick checks to confirm it will fit your dog:
- Chest width test: Measure across the widest part of your dog’s chest (front legs to front legs). If that measurement is roughly 10 inches or less, the mat will be a good fit for natural foraging and sniffing.
- Nose-to-chest test: Measure from the tip of the nose to where the front legs meet the chest. If that's about 8 inches or less, your dog can comfortably reach food on the mat without lifting their head excessively.
- Simple household test: Place a standard dinner plate (10–12 inches) on the floor next to your dog. If your dog can move their nose around the plate naturally while standing, this mat will suit them well.
How to measure your dog (3 quick steps):
- Use a soft tape measure or a strip of paper you can mark and measure with a ruler.
- Measure chest width by wrapping the tape across the widest point of the chest (front leg to front leg).
- Measure nose-to-chest by running the tape from the nose tip straight back to where the front legs meet the body.
