- Fit guidance — quick checks to make sure this cage will work for your pet:
- Allow at least ~4 in of extra length beyond your pet’s nose-to-tail-base so they can lie down comfortably.
- Allow ~2–3 in extra height above your pet’s shoulder so they can stand without crouching.
- Allow ~2–4 in of extra room around the widest part of the chest so your pet can turn and move.
- How to measure your pet — three simple steps:
- Length: measure from the tip of the nose to the base of the tail.
- Height: measure from the floor to the highest point of the shoulder.
- Chest girth: measure the widest part of the ribcage (wrap tape around the body just behind the front legs).
- Quick fit test: with your pet standing inside, they should be able to stand up straight, turn around, and lie down stretched out. If they cannot do all three comfortably, choose a larger solution.
- Note: manual measurement tolerance ~0.4–0.8 in. Because the tent is foldable, usable interior space can be slightly less than outer footprint when set up; use the fit guidance above to confirm comfort.
