- Measure from the tip of the nose to the base of the tail (this is your dog’s length).
- Measure across the widest point (usually the shoulders) for width.
- Add 4–6 inches to your dog’s length for a comfortable stretch when choosing a bed size.
- Compare those numbers to the table above. If your dog lies curled up, choose the size where width is comfortably larger than their shoulder width.
