- Measure your dog in their normal sleep position. For curled sleepers, measure from nose to base of tail while the dog is curled.
- Rule of thumb: choose a bed diameter that is at least 4 inches larger than that curled measurement so your dog can tuck in comfortably.
- If your dog stretches out when sleeping, measure full body length (nose to tail base) and add 8–12 inches, then pick the next larger size.
- If between sizes, choose the larger size for extra room and comfort.
