- Intended use: stable seating and seat protection on SUV and truck back seats; foldable for storage.
- Best fit: dogs that can comfortably sit and lie on a standard rear bench seat; not for very large breeds such as Great Danes or Saint Bernards.
How to measure your dog to confirm fit
- Length — measure from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. If your dog’s length is about 30 inches or less, it should lie down comfortably on this seat.
- Shoulder height — measure from the floor to the top of the shoulder. If your dog’s shoulder height is about 24 inches or less, it should sit upright comfortably.
- Weight — dogs around 70 lbs or less are typically well supported by the hard-bottom design.
Quick fit test: place your dog in the vehicle’s back seat and check it can sit or lie down with roughly 2–4 inches of extra space around it. If it fills the seat edge-to-edge when lying down, consider a larger cargo area or alternate carrier for full comfort.
